Karen Mulder joins Tufts after nearly 6 years as a Management Consultant with L.E.K. Consulting in Boston and a history of strong academic experiences. With exposure to over 30 companies on projects ranging from ancillary revenue generation/prioritization to drug screenings and consumer marketing to private equity transactions, Karen has a wide range of expertise that is transferrable to Tufts search for new revenue generating opportunities. Before her consulting days, Karen was a Fulbright fellow in Goettingen Germany and graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a BA in History in 2008. Her senior thesis on contemporary German memory of the Holocaust remains her proudest accomplishment. When she is not learning everything she can about how a complex, world-class University succeeds, she enjoys ballet, hiking, pretending she can still speak German, and trying to control the proliferation of books brought on by being married to a PhD student.
