Student Information System (SIS)
Over a three year period, beginning July 2011 through the summer of 2014, Tufts implemented a new Student Information System (SIS). Tufts’ new Student Information System has been designed to support the needs of Tufts’ students, faculty, and staff. SIS replaces the student records portion of legacy (“old”) SIS, which included grades, records, transcripts, graduation and advising. The new SIS simplifies how students view their financial information, and it includes technical interfaces with Tufts’ admissions and financial aid systems. SIS also interacts with a new data warehouse, which enhances our ability to manage student information and to report institutional data to federal and state agencies.
